I had a great meal of upscale Mexican food on a date at MXDC. Absolutely loved the lobster guacamole and the open style quesadilla. Molรจ was also great, though maybe a bit on the bitter side. I also had a VERY spicy Spicy Margarita. Iโ€™ve had a lot of spicy margaritas, and this one was next level spicy. I couldnโ€™t finish it. Otherwise the staff and atmosphere are lovely, and I would definitely eat there again.

We were visiting DC from PA. Stopped into this place for dinner and so glad we did. Beautiful atmosphere, great customer service, and the food was absolutely delicious. Wish I remembered our server's name,he was great. He recommended the sea bass and I will definitely get that again, the flavors burst in your mouth. They treated us to the Mexican sponge cake,so good. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you for a nice experience.

Iโ€™ve been here a few times over the years. I havenโ€™t been disappointed yet. I would say it would be nice to see dessert wine added to the menu to complement the dessert foods. Other than that delicious and high protein goodness is all I can say. I got a bees knees and the young man made it very well.

My party and I (6 people total) enjoyed a lovely dinner here early Saturday evening. They were able to seat up slightly early which was very nice as I had my more senior grandparents with us. The food selection was fantastic everything was got was very very good. We all enjoyed our meals greatly. The portion sizes while not as large as what might be available at other restaurants are still very filling and even provided some leftovers to take home. Overall great.

Enjoyed the experience overall here for brunch but nothing spectacular meriting an immediate return. We enjoyed most of the items we ordered but several first preference items were unavailable, and the decor was vibrant and energetic, but the service was lackluster, all rounding out to a good but not great experience. We enjoyed the queso fundido with chorizo but the amount of chorizo it came with was very meager (like a teaspoon), and we had to order an additional side. The goat cheese quesadilla was quite good, we enjoyed the distinct flavors. I enjoyed my steak burrito enchiladas, which was basically a wet burrito with a red mole sauce, but the quality of beef could have been better. My wife enjoyed her huevos rancheros but they were not particularly memorable. The churros were actually quite good, freshly made and the caramel sauce was delicious. Items like the chilaquiles, the lobster and guacamole, and several of the tacos were unavailable/out of stock, and we went at opening time. Super disappointing. Service was very spotty, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Definitely think they can do better, and will need to.

Great food and really fast service. Lovely vibe on a Friday night, and not too loud. Most tables are bar seating which wasnโ€™t super comfortable. Not very flexible for vegan options. But overall a great experience!

A Mexican restaurant that serves suchi.... it's a win-win. Authentic Mexican dishes with a twist. Everything was well seasoned and cooked just right. The suchi (salmon/avocado/cooked salmon) was delicious. The dessert was made sweet but not over the top. With unique flavorful drinks, it's delicious.
